Hi I’m Matt! I’m originally from the midwest and have been living in LA since 2015.

I’ve been producing dance music since 2008 and continue to do that most of the time. My music’s been played at festivals like EDC and Forbidden Kingdom, in commercials (with folks like Pepsi, Samsung, and Miller Lite), on Netflix, and in films. I’ve also provided sound design for video games and various feature and short films.

I have experience making most popular genres of music but specialize in bass genres like dubstep, dnb, and house. Generally you can find me learning new sound design techniques, making fun Ableton racks, or watching horror movies (AND THAT’S IT).

From 2018-2025 I taught at Icon Collective in Burbank, CA. I taught classes including Synthesis, Advanced Sound Design, Ear Training, Sync+Licensing, Ableton, Music For Visual Media, and DJ Fundamentals. In addition to classes, I’ve held weekly 1 on 1 mentor sessions with hundreds of students during my time as an instructor.

I also have a BA in Music Composition if you’re into that sort of thing.
